RISC-V Launches the Open Hardware Diversity Alliance
The Open Hardware Diversity Alliance is a RISC-V incubating project with the mission of bringing together the open hardware community to provide programs, networking opportunities, and learning to encourage participation and support to the professional advancement of women and underrepresented individuals in open source hardware.

The Open Hardware Diversity Alliance plans to offer programs to support the personal and career goals of women and underrepresented individuals in the Open Hardware community.

- Provide tools to build confidence, support career growth, participate in leadership, speak at events, and grow your community presence

The Open Hardware Diversity Alliance is looking for individuals who want to contribute their time and knowledge to support the Alliance’s programs. We are looking for this assistance:
- Alliances and partnerships with other organizations focusing on diversity and inclusivity in technology and open source.
- Learning materials we can offer the community for their personal and professional growth
- Working with organizations on tactics they can incorporate to increase technical leadership of women and underrepresented individuals
- Assisting the members with identifying and preparing for speaking engagements to raise their profile in the technology community.
- Identifying opportunities and creating activities at events targeted specifically to women and underrepresented individuals
- Work on the communications plan for the Alliance to launch, increase awareness, and grow the community.
- Identify and track metrics for measurement of success
